About me

Andrea Hlavackova was born on August 10, 1986 (in Pilsen, Czech Republic).

She has started to play tennis since 5 years old. She entered into professional women´s WTA tennis in 2004. Now she is one of the best women players in doubles on the planet.

She became the last official junior world champion in doubles in 2003. During her career she managed to win 27 tournaments of WTA in doubles. In the ITF Women´s Circuit she won 7 titles in singles and 19 in doubles.

In the year 2011 Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka were excellent in French Open Grand Slam. This pair was also in final of Wimbledon in 2012 and also after one month on the same court they were in final of the Olympic Games unfortunately they lost again against sisters Serena and Venus Williams, but Czech Republic could celebrate a silver medal with them. In 2013 wins of two Grand Slam titles at the US Open - in doubles with Lucie Hradecka and also in the mix, where he was a partner Max Mirnyi (BLR).
