Andrea continues an American tour

A hard draw in single and unexpectedly early end in doubles. This is how Andrea will remember this year tournament at Indian Wells. But she continues an American tour. Andrea will play in Miami and then she will move to Charleston on a clay surface.

BNP Paribas Open 2013 tournament did not mean a large increase WTA points. “I had really hard draw in the single. This happens at this level and you have to hold on before your week will come,” Andrea mentioned. Kuznetsova from Russia was over her forces, the match was balanced only in the first set.

Much more surprising was elimination already in the 2nd round in doubles. “With Lucie Hradecka, we had a perfect entry into a tournament, when we won smoothly against Australian Open semi-finalist Lepchenko, Zheng. But then against pair Dushevina, Panova we missed our chance to win the first set. Opponents played great and were much luckier. This match ended by our defeat,” Andrea evaluated early end in California.

But Andrea did not waste time in Indian Wells. “I took with me here for a one-time collaboration a conditioning coach. So we got a week for a good preparation. Now I´ll go to play to a tournament in Miami. I´m really looking forward to go there. My coach and my family will arrive there so I have in my plan also some nice activities. Of course I´d like to make some more significant success,” she added resolutely.

Miami will be for a while last tournament with a fast surface. “The next tournament in Charleston means for me a transfer on clay. After this tournament there will follow a return to Europe, where it will be my first tournament also on clay - hall tournament in Katowice, Poland,” Andrea added.
