Andrea was defeated by young Duval

Seventeen years old American Victoria Duval, who was in the main competition of Sony Open tournament in Miami thanks to a wild card, demonstrated in a match full of Andrea Hlavackova´s lost services stronger nerves and discipline and won 7:6(4), 6:4.

Talented domestic from Miami, but 376th player of WTA ranking, started better, but Andrea got in touch. For both players own service was more disadvantage. Because of that the first set was finished in the tie-break. Young American won the tie-break and was slightly better also in the second set. After 108 minutes she celebrated an unexpected victory.

“Every match, even the lost one, is an experience. It was the last time in the season which I played with a bad tactics. I played not to lose, but I have to change it. From now I will not care what anyone thinks about my results. I´ll play for me and for my pleasure. I want to show my tennis, which I like even during losing game,” Andrea Hlavackova said determined.

On Thursday in Florida Andrea will train and focus on doubles. She will play doubles with Lucie Hradecka against pair Svetlana Kuznetsova (RUS), Flavia Pennetta (ITA). “Playing system in foubles brought us a hard draw, but we will enjoy the match,” Andrea added. Lucie Hradecka is also in the same condition as Andrea, also she was defeated in the first round against Karolina Pliskova 2:6, 1:6…
