But I´m glad for this year´s first bigger semi-finals with Lucie and I believe that we will have this performance also on the grass,” Andrea said.

She described the program for next days and weeks. “This weekend we´re moving to Birmingham. Grass is much faster surface and it won´t be easy to adapt, but I have to managed it. Then I´ll play at the tournament in Hertogenboschi in the Netherlands, what will be a last warm-up tournament before Wimblendon,” she added.

Move from clay to grass is an extreme change. But last year Andrea had the greatest successes on this surface. The finals in doubles in Wimbledon and in th Olympic Games. Last year also Andrea got into round of sixteen across two opponents in single. “I´m excited but also a little tired. But I hope that good performance and victories sill give me a positive energy,” she said.
