Her results were better and better on clay and grass is seemed perfect for her. Andrea Hlavackova confirms her better form even at her premiere in Hertogenboschi in the Netherlands, where she managed to get from qualification to the main competition of Topshelf Open 2013. In the first round she will play against American Lauren Davis.

In the first match Andrea played against unknown domestic talent Indy de Vroome, the 476th player of the WTA ranking. Andrea won after 50 minutes by the score 6:2, 6:0. “The young player from the Netherlands maybe will be very successful and I think we will hear about her one time. But after my experiences with the young players this year I didn´t give her any opportunity,” Andrea laughed.

The second match was more difficult. Andrea defeated Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko after 107 minutes and scores 4:6, 6:3, 6:4. “It was difficult match, which I complicated by my own fault. In the first set my opponent played very well. I was getting better in the third set and got all match into successful end,” Andrea described a victory against 76th player on the world.

In the first round of the main competition Andrea will play against another young player. Eighteen year old Lauren Davis is 88th player on the world and Andrea has never met with her on the court. “It´s not bad draw, so I´ll try it and we will see,” Andrea added. On the contrary she can relax in doubles, where the pair Andrea Hlavackova and Daniela Hantuchova is the first seeded. In the opening round got a Czech-Slovak pair an advantage of the free draw.
