Andrea´s victories in single and double!

At the beginning of the Hungarian Grand Prix tournament in Budapest Andrea Hlavackova clearly won against second seeded in this tournament and 32nd player of the world Alizee Cornet from France 6:4, 6:2.

During returning from grass to clay she dominated at the court. “I´m really happy that I managed this match. When I saw a draw I was scary. But I said myself if I want to make some points during this tournament I have to try to defeat anyone. So I try to do that for 100% and it worked,” Andrea rejoiced after quite easy victory.

Maybe Andrea´s fans were disconcerted during the end of the second set, when Czech player lead 5:1 and served, but lost her service. It would not be the first time in this season when Andrea could lose 4 points leading in the set. This time, she finished this match during French service. “My game was enough good this time against Cornet. I managed also mentally difficult situation, for what I´m glad. I have been training something since I finished in Wimbledon and I´m glad that finally it works,” she said.

On Wednesday Andrea and Lucie Hradecka defeated in the quarterfinals domestic young pair (with wild card) Lilla Barzo and Dalma Galfi. In the second round in single Andrea will play against Romanian clay specialist Alexandra Cadantu. “She will be hard opponent, but I have to managed it,” she added.
