H+H did not have time for celebration of 10th title

For the first time since last year´s October Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka won the WTA tournament in doubles. In the final of Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest the Czech pair defeated Nina Bratchikova (RUS) and Anna Tatishivili (GEO) 6:4, 6:1.

Andrea won the 13th title in doubles of her career in the WTA tour, 10th title with Lucie Hradecka. “I´m very happy that we´ve achieved the 10th title with Lucie and confirm our position of first seeded pair in this tournament,” Andrea said. Andrea was doing well also in singles in Hungary. In the 2nd round against Romanian Alexandra Candatu she served for a victory in score 6:4, 5:4. Andrea had four match points, but she had to give up because of the pain in her leg in score 6:4, 5:7, 0:4 in the third set.

Andrea does not have a time for rest or celebrations. Right after the tournament she went by car to Bad Gastein in Austria. There she will play on the Nürnberger Gastein Ladies 2013 tournament. “I will have to quickly adapt to different temperature and altitude,” she said. In the 1st round she will play against Eleni Daniilidou, the 98th player of the WTA ranking from Greece. Andrea played against her just one time. In 2009 in Prague she lost on clay 5:7, 6:2, 2:6.

Andrea likes the tournament in Bad Gastein. Andrea and Lucie won this tournament two times in 2008 and 2009 in doubles. But for this time they will play just in singles. “I´ve decided that I will play just in singles, because there will be hard transfer to a concrete surface. So I have to start with my training on this surface also,” Andrea was explaining why she will not play with Lucie in doubles, in which they should be the first seeded pair.
