Andrea will play qualification of singles and both doubles in Paris

Andrea Hlavackova as other Czech tennis players participated in the Sparta Prague Open ITF tournament, in which she finished in the first round of single and in doubles Andrea and Lucie Safarova played finals. Now Andrea will play French Open in Paris, where she will play qualification of singles and both doubles.

“The tournament in Prague was for me something like return training to a whole season and I was quite satisfied with my performance. I played a good match against hard opponent Slovak Schmiedlova and I am delighted that with Lucie we could somehow warm up before Paris after four successful matches in doubles in Prague,” Andrea said. In the final they lost against pair Lucie Hradecka and Michaella Krajicek.

On Monday Andrea travelled to Paris, where she will have tight program. “I am very interesting in draw on Tuesday. My goal for the second Grand slam of this season is to play as much matches as possible. And if I manage to get to the main competition in singles it will be a great awakening,” Andrea summarized her ambitions.

Definitely it must be counted with her in team disciplines. “Of course that with Lucie we will play main competition in doubles and I will also play mix. My partner in mix will be experienced Spanish Marc Lopez. I am really looking forward to both competition and I hope, that I will manage some great results in Paris,” Andrea added.
