Andrea is coming from Paris without victory

It was the least hilarious Grand Slam of the last four seasons. After the failure in the first qualification round in single Andrea lost also her opening matches in doubles and mix and is coming from the Roland Garros courts without victory. But now the attention is to the next part of the season on the grass surface.

She lost in the qualification for singles at the French Open in three sets with German Laura Siegemund. Andrea and Lucie Safarova were defeated in doubles by Sharon Fichman (CAN) and Anastasia Paclyuchenkoca (RUS) and the unlucky hatrick was finished in the mix where Andrea and Spaniard Marc Lopez lost with the second seeded pair Katarina Srbotnik (SLO) and Rohan Bopanna (IND). “Paris wasn´t generous to me this year, but after almost none training and sickness I could not expected more from the French Open,” Andrea pronounced composedly.

Probably the most disappointed was elimination in doubles. “I´m sorry about single but I really didn´t play well. In doubles we did good performance with Lucie. Unfortunately our opponents were luckier,” Andrea shrugged her shoulders helplessly. She did not want to worry much about unsuccessful tournament: “Seasons is still going on and I´m looking forward to tournaments on the grass.”

Now Andrea will play ITF Aegon Nottingham Challenge tournament with grant of 50 thousands dollars. After that she will move to Netherland for the WTA Topshelf Open tournament in Hertogenbsochi. After this tournament is coming the main competition in Wimbledon. “For this month on the grass I wish primarily health, the rest will come with it. There will be some changes which I am preparing,” Andrea added.
